No Medical Care for Vets?

Here is a truly amazing issue. Obama ran on universal healthcare as a major plank in his platform. Universal: for everybody. It doesn’t matter that nobody can be refused medical care already he wants socialized medicine. This is same style that is bankrupt and giving poor service in several other countries. Ok newer bigger faster stronger medical care for everybody including illegal aliens (it’s in there).
The new twist is that Obama is now proposing that our Veterans who are wounded in our service may have the cost of their SERVICE medical care charged back to their private insurance. Huh? The very people that volunteered to serve the country and were wounded in that service now are accountable for their own medical care? Isn’t the deal that they take care of us and we take care of them? John Q Public at least gets workman’s Comp and Disability.

US Secretary of the Treasury Geitner OK with One World Currency

Ok this was the brightest and best that we HAD to have as the Secretary. This same guy messed up Turbo Tax and failed to pay $35,000+ in taxes because he “made a mistake”. What? Consider what a single world currency would mean for the sovereignty of the US.

I have pondered this current manufactured event and it reminds me of an over blown Punch & Judy event without the puppeteers being hidden. My wife and I told our eldest when he was about 15 that he needed to quit being bad because he was no good at it. This whole debacle reminds me of the time when some fresh cookies went missing and my boys both swore up and down it wasn’t them even though there were crumbs on their shirts and chocolate on their faces. The AIG situation is a lot like that.

People are blowing this deal way out of proportion. Ok the money is huge but the nuts and bolts are exposed for all who care about accuracy to see for themselves. Let’s break it down. Let’s say that you are an insurance/financial wizard. AIG wants to get you into their talent pool. You are a free agent and you negotiate your package that includes a $1million bonus somewhere in the life of the contract. You sign up and everything is golden right?

Nope a couple of divisions within AIG are threatening to do a financial Hindenberg impersonation. No worries. You have a contract with the parent company. Just like Avis or Jiffy Lube or the Santa Barbara Police might have a contract with a part of AIG. AIG is legally bound to meet the terms for their side of the contracts.

The whiz bang stimulus/bailout package that came down the pipe included exemptions to scrutiny/oversight or any other hoo haw regarding these large bonuses. Basically these preexisting contracts get a pass and are allowed to remain in effect.

Now the authors of the package that accepts these contracts as is feign ignorance as to the existence of these contracts and express outrage at the greed and insensitivity the recipients have exhibited. What the….? These guys just put a deal together and did their part and now want what is rightfully theirs. This is bad why? It doesn’t matter how much the deals were for. These were exempted legal deals put together prior to the bail out and everybody that is in authority is acting mad with many load harumphs to prove their distaste for this unseemly behavior. The recipients did nothing wrong. Maybe the AIG guys writing the contracts did something wrong when they wrote the contracts but that is a business deal. They did nothing illegal.

Ok with all these exemptions and non illegalities, why all the hubbub? Why are the recipients being set up as bad guys?

Outrage? Outrage? They knew about it before. It was legal. The “outraged” gave them a pass and now when the public calls BS instead of standing up like honorable adults and explaining their rationale for the exemptions they point the finger at the legal participants declaring them bad and immoral. AIG probably wrote these contracts with their fingers crossed but that was their legal business right to do that.

In this case, who is really bad, immoral and illegal? AIG or our fearless leaders?

This is the tip of the iceberg folks. They are a patient people and have a goal of global Islam. Do your homework. Inform yourself.

What if you refuse to bend to this global influence? How do they treat those with whom they disagree? Do you remember the beheading of William Wallace at the end of Braveheart? That was very sad but almost romantic in a hero and martyrific sort of sense.

One nice chop and it’s all over. Right? Not with the current beheading crowd. The subject is bound hand and foot and sometimes hogtied with the hands and feet bound and connected with rope. A knee is placed in the victim’s back and the head is grabbed by the hair and pulled back. With a knife the head is then sawed off beginning at the front of the throat. But, But , this is the 21st century! This could not be happening! Grow up. Wake up. There are things going on outside of our borders (all the way outside?) that we need to be aware of.

So, this current “surprise“ “crises” isn’t a surprise and isn’t a crises and actually has some parties playing both sides of the fence. They are banking on (pardon the verbiage) Americans remaining uninformed.

For you and me this illustrates the ineptitude and disingenuousness of our leadership. They are wasting our time, lying to us, trying to take over private enterprise and bottom line sending your and my money overseas. In this time of such a bad economy shouldn’t the knowing disbursement of OUR MONEY to foreign entities be considered treasonous?

Intro to Islam in today's world and the West

In talking about Islam these days I hear the argument that most Muslims are just good mild mannered people and that all of the angry terror stuff come from a minority of Muslims. Let’s just assume for the moment that this is accurate. Let’s say there are 1.2 billion Muslims on the planet and only 10% are angry and irrational. That leaves us with 120 million angry, suicide bomb approving radical Muslims. These Muslims have declared war on the West and specifically the US and Israel years ago:

D. No. On a totally logical, secular level this can’t fly. Many faiths declare to be THE TRUTH yet have a belief system that is totally foreign to and in some cases directly opposed to the others. What we no from this about different faiths is that 1. All may be false and 2. 2 opposed faiths that declare truth cannot be both true.

We have been lulled in our western culture to dismiss ideas that seem foreign or out of whack to us. We don’t pay attention to the sometimes not so quiet takeover throughout Europe.

We in the West have been lulled into a numb, ignorant existence without much recognition to a world/culture outside of our own. Islam was founded about 600 AD by Mohammed. The strife between the races goes back to Isaac and Ishmael some 4,000 years ago. Most of the attempts to get all parties to shake hands and make up in the middle east are laughable at best and exhibit gross ignorance re the hidden and not so hidden nuances of the strife in that region. The US is barely a toddler on the world scene and we assume that we know how to make everything better. Arrogant and ignorant.
