I will get back to Islam in a day or so. The AIG thing is so odd I needed to address it while things are still in motion.
This current “issue” about AIG is so bizarre it would be funny if it weren’t so sad/scary, unbelievable and spun into a more nauseous state than 5 consecutive turns on the Mad Hatter’s Teacups.
AIG is being taken to task for providing “excessive” bonuses to exec’s after taken bail out money.

The bonuses in question were not random or recently thought up. These bonuses are part of specific employees negotiated employment packages put together back at the time of their hiring. Very much pre bailout.

These bonuses were known and spelled out as exempt from ANY bailout oversight by an exemption written by none other than Chris Dodd.

Barney Frank now believes that because of AIG accepted bailout funds that the government is now the owner and he wants to start pressing some owner’s rights on AIG.

The majority of the bailout money provided by Mr. & Mrs. US citizen has made it into foreign banks. Over $50 Billion of our money that was meant to bail out our economy is now in foreign banks.

So, this current “surprise“ “crises” isn’t a surprise and isn’t a crises and actually has some parties playing both sides of the fence. They are banking on (pardon the verbiage) Americans remaining uninformed.
For you and me this illustrates the ineptitude and disingenuousness of our leadership. They are wasting our time, lying to us, trying to take over private enterprise and bottom line sending your and my money overseas. In this time of such a bad economy shouldn’t the knowing disbursement of OUR MONEY to foreign entities be considered treasonous?
Enough is enough folks. Let’s not ignore the man behind the curtain any longer. Ask questions. Demand answers. They work for us.
